Monday Minute 9/28/20

Let’s see…this week I dusted off the road bike for a ride with hubs and a Strava segment chase (I PRd by 30 seconds!), I had several successful runs, including a very consistent 4x400 workout on the track (I finished each interval, by feel, in exactly 1:25), and I decided that I definitely need to be putting myself through physical therapy at home 2-3 times per week. I kept up some of the stretching and strengthening after I graduated from PT, but as soon as I spend too long in a chair the back pain starts back up again and is hard to get rid of. So, I spent a bunch of time in my home gym this week, pretending I was in PT.

My stickers came in this week! It has been pointed out to me that it looks like it says “kills” instead of “hills” …I have filled in the font for next time. 🤪

Also new this week…I subscribed to a mouthguard subscription so that maybe I can manage not to grind my teeth to nothing by the time I turn 40. It’s just a little bit bulky on my front teeth, but it’s definitely better than anything I could buy in the store!

Added bonus, it’s actually thin enough not to make me gag every time I put it in, unlike any of the store-bought mouthguards I’ve tried…
